Hey, y'all! My name is Alexandra Owings, but friends and fam just call me Alex! I am a junior at Mississippi State University majoring in Fashion Merchandising and minoring in Marketing. I have loved fashion since I can even remember--so much so that as a kid my favorite thing to do was redesign all of the wedding dresses I saw on Say Yes to the Dress in the back of my coloring books. After my first job in retail, I became determined to make fashion my career and have not stopped since. After working on numerous brand openings, rebrandings, and fashion brand marketing campaigns I continue to grow my love for this industry even farther. In college, I have joined many organizations to further my leadership skills and immerse myself in fashion wholly. Recently I have moved on to the semifinals of the NRF Foundation's Next Generation Scholarship, and am so excited to be working on a case study with Meijer and the whole NRF Foundation this summer!
